FEGOCOOSA COMMUNIQUÉ

On Saturday, 18th July 2026, the Federal Government College Ogbomoso Old Students
Association (FEGOCOOSA) had the honour of participating in the 34th Annual Speech and
Prize Giving Ceremony of our beloved alma mater, Federal Government College, Ogbomoso
(FEGO).

In keeping with our unwavering commitment to promoting academic excellence and rewarding
merit, FEGOCOOSA proudly presented plaque awards and cash prizes to deserving members
of the school community in recognition of their outstanding achievements and dedicated service.

A total of twelve (12) exceptional members of the Graduating Class of 2026 were honoured
across various academic, leadership and special award categories in recognition of their hard
work, resilience, discipline and exemplary performance throughout their years in the College.

In addition, three (3) distinguished members of staff received FEGOCOOSA Recognition
Awards for their exceptional commitment, selfless service and invaluable contributions to the
growth and development of Federal Government College, Ogbomoso. Their dedication
continues to shape young minds and uphold the tradition of excellence for which our alma mater
is renowned.

These awards underscore FEGOCOOSA's unwavering belief that excellence should be
celebrated, dedication should be recognised and achievement should be rewarded. By
honouring excellence today, we inspire future generations of FEGOCOOSIANS to pursue
greatness while preserving the proud values and traditions that have distinguished our College
for nearly five decades.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the award recipients and the Graduating Class of
2026 on reaching this significant milestone. As you embark on the next chapter of your lives,
may the timeless values of Pro Unitate continue to guide your path and inspire you to become
worthy ambassadors of Federal Government College, Ogbomoso.

FEGOCOOSA also commends the Principal, members of the management team, academic and
non-academic staff, parents, guardians and the entire school community for the successful
organisation of this memorable event, which once again celebrated excellence and reinforced
the noble ideals upon which the College was founded.

As Federal Government College, Ogbomoso looks forward to celebrating its Golden Jubilee in
2027, FEGOCOOSA remains steadfast in its commitment to supporting the College,
empowering students, recognising excellence and preserving the enduring legacy of our
beloved alma mater.
